Posted On: June 14, 2023
Knee Replacement is one of the most popular surgeries today to treat damaged knee joints. This surgery is of two types; partial knee replacement and total knee replacement. When only one part of the knee joint is damaged, especially in young and active patients, partial knee replacement is preferred whilst when all the three components of our knee joint are damaged total knee replacement is done. Dr. Ankur Dogra, Orthopedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon at Shalby Hospitals Mohali, explains the differences between partial and total knee replacement in detail.
