Mrs Manisha Kumawat is from Kishangarh in Rajasthan, which is at a diatnce of about 100 km from Jaipur. She gave birth to a child after five years of marriage recently at Shalby Hospitals Jaipur. Last days of her delivery were very difficult because of complications and she chose Shalby Hospitals Jaipur for her delivery under the care of Shalby’s gynecologist Dr Sunita Chaudhary. However, her child was extremely premature and weighed just 800 gm at birth (usual weight of a new born baby in India is 2.8 to 3.2 kg). Besides, the baby had multi-drug resistance infection. This was first such case at Shalby in last five years and one of the very few in Rajasthan. She was treated successfully at Shalby Jaipur’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit by Dr Manoj Sharma, Neonatologist & Pediatrician at Shalby. The baby’s condition was critical and she had to in hospital for 50 long days. She is completely treated now and as her parents share their experience, they are full of appreciation for Dr Manoj Sharma and Shalby Hospitals Jaipur for excellent care and treatment.
