Shalby Cancer & Research Institute An Integral Part of 41st ICON, Held at Ahmedabad

Shalby Cancer & Research Institute, headed by Dr Purvish Parikh, noted Oncologist of India has actively participated in the 41st Indian Co-operative Oncology Network (ICON), held in Ahmedabad from 13th to 15th September, 2019.

The Chief Guest of Scientific Session – Day 1, was Dr Vikram Shah, Chairman & Managing Director, Shalby Hospitals.

Day 2 and Day 3 of the conference were enriched with Workshops and Paper Presentations, interspersed with Scientific sessions. The Conference ended on the 3rd day with a ”Scientific Symposium” organized by Shalby Cancer & Research institute, in association with AISM and NIMA.

The topic of the symposium was “Multi-Disciplinary of Hepatitis Cellular Carcinoma”. Dr Bhavin Vasavada, Liver Transplant Surgeon, Shalby Hospitals dealt with the subject ”Trans Arterial Chemoembolization (TACE)”. Dr Akash Patel, Interventional Radiologist, Shalby Cancer & Research Institute was the other faculty at the scientific symposium.
