Lehrulalji is from Pratapgarh in Rajasthan, which lies at a distance of about 325 km from Ahmedabad. He had been suffering from severe lower back and hip pain for the last three years. It was so severe that he could hardly walk ten steps.
He says that he had consulted many doctors in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh but was told that his surgery was not possible as his heart was very weak. Then he was recommended by Dr. Anil Solanki, a Spine Surgeon at Shalby Hospitals Naroda in Ahmedabad by someone. Dr. Solanki assured him that though his surgery was difficult it was not impossible.
