Bedridden UK Patient Walk After 8 Years With Spine Surgery at Shalby Hospitals, Ahmedabad

Mrs. Selma Harb from Oxford, United Kingdom (UK) is in her mid-sixties. She is a pharmacist who had set up her pharmacy and planned to retire with an active life. Mrs. Harb’s retirement plans saw an unfortunate setback with a spine disorder that forced her to be bedridden for the last eight years. She was operated on for spine surgery in UK about ten years back. Initially, she was fine but soon started developing a disability in walking. Mrs. Harb had lost all hopes to walk again when one of her friends, also a Britisher, whose father was operated by Spine Surgeon at Shalby Hospitals, Ahmedabad, India, recommended them to consult him. She flew to India as soon as possible for her treatment at Shalby Hospitals. Her spine surgery that lasted 9 hours was performed by Chief Spine Surgeon & Head of Spine Surgery at Shalby Hospitals, and his team. It was a big success, and she can stand upright now and walk after being bedridden for eight years. As Mrs. Harb and her husband share their experience, they are full of appreciation for the Spine Surgeon & the team of doctors as well as all the staff at Shalby Hospitals.
