29th September is celebrated as World Heart Day across the world to spread awareness about heart disease and how we can prevent it. Dr. Zeeshan Mansuri, Interventional Cardiologist at Shalby Hospitals about the significance of this day. He says that World Heart Federation started celebrating 29th September as World Heart Day in 2012 to raise awareness about heart disease and to facilitate providing healthcare facilities for its prevention and treatment. The target set was to reduce the number of cases by 25% by 2025. Dr. Mansuri also talks about symptoms of heart disease.
