Shalby has received FICCI Operational Excellence Award, 2011. 135 hospitals from all over India were in the race. The jury was headed by the former Chief Justice of India Justice R C Lahoti. The other jury members were prominent doctors, academicians and prominent healthcare professionals. The awards were presented at a glittering function on the evening of 8th September in New Delhi.

The announcement that Shalby Hospital was the winner made everyone take note of the hospital group from Gujarat; which has consistently delivered quality care to patients from all over the world. The CMD of Shalby Hospitals Dr Vikram Shah and Director Dr Darshini V Shah received the award at the hands of Mr Harish Mariwala, FICCI President and Chairman MARICO group and Mr Mukesh Chawla, President, World Bank, Human Development.
