Shalby Cancer & Research Institute ( A Unit of Shalby Multispecialty Hospitals) has organized a Media Meet on October 22, 2020 with a view to creating social awareness about Breast Cancer and its remedial actions.
The meet discussed about an integrated approach of Onco Physicians, Onco Surgeons and Radiation Therapists to effectively counter this deadly disease and the ways to win over it.

During the meet, consultants of SCRI (Shalby Cancer & Research Institute) stressed on the importance of self examination of breast for detecting early symptoms of cancer. The meet also discussed about the ways to overcome the side effects of chemotherapy. Benefits of Breast reconstructive and breast conservation surgeries, targeted therapy and radiation therapy were also part of the discussion.

Technological advancements in radiation therapy was also highlighted along with all available treatment options under one roof at Shalby Hospitals.
