To commemorate the courage of cancer warriors and to promote cancer awareness in the city, Shalby Hospital Jaipur organized a program at one of the premium hotels in Jaipur, Sarovar Portico.
The program aimed to discuss myths about cancer, cancer prevention and its treatment. In the program, “Cancer Awareness Bus” was launched. The bus will move around the city as well as the rural areas with the objective to spread awareness about cancer and conduct cancer screening tests.

Throwing more light on this, Dr. Pratik Sharma, CEO, Shalby Hospital Jaipur, said, “For the past six years, we are offering comprehensive cardiac care services through cancer surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, etc. We constantly strive for the prevention, detection, diagnosis and treatment of cancer and its related illnesses.”
The event was attended by Dr. Somya Gurjar, Greater Mayor of Jaipur Nagar Nigam, Farooq Afridi, Special officer of Chief Minister, Mahendra Kumar Sharma, Councillor of ward no. 102 and also by eminent doctors like Dr. Dinesh Gupta, Dr. Naresh Jangir, Dr. Sudhir Palsaniya, Dr. Ananya Pareek, Dr. Abhilasha Maan, Dr. Ankur Mittal, etc. of Jaipur city.
