Kite Flying May be a Thrill, But it Can Even Kill!

Timely Medical help from Shalby Hospitals, Ahmedabad saved the life of Mr. Milan Nalinbhai Mistry, age 29.
While riding a motorcycle on December 25, 2016, he got trapped by a kite thread at Sachana, Nr. Viramgam, Gujarat. His neck got severely injured and the wound was so deep that the hospitals in Viramgam could not come to his rescue. He was rushed to Shalby Hospital at S.G. Road, Ahmedabad where the doctor team could gift him a new lease of life by providing emergency medical services and surgical intervention.

His neck was bleeding severely and had difficulty in breathing. In the OT, we controlled the bleeding immediately. Dr. Bhaumik Shah, ENT Surgeon did a tracheotomy and Dr. Minesh Mehta, Intensivist provided the Best ICU care.
