Dr. Arunanshu Behera is a highly accomplished and nationally renowned surgeon with over four decades of clinical and academic excellence. Formerly the HOD & Professor (HAG Scale), Department of General Surgery at PGIMER, Chandigarh, he has been a pioneering force in advancing liver transplantation and complex surgical care in India.
He is recognized for establishing liver transplant programs (both DDLT and LDLT) at PGIMER and has played a crucial role in shaping multidisciplinary surgical practices. His expertise spans across general surgery, GI surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, vascular surgery, endocrine surgery, and oncological surgery.
