Teaching and Treating in UAE

To spread awareness about Shalby’s association with RAK Hospital in UAE, , Senior Joint Replacement Surgeon Dr Kalpesh Shah was invited to give a talk on total knee replacement. There he gave lectures about Total Knee Replacement [TKR] surgery and also examined patients afterwards.

Now the Geographic Boundaries are slowly being truly abolished. A Gujarati doctor from Shalby Hospital examines an Arab gentleman in UAE…

It may be recollected that Shalby Hospitals [Ahmedabad, INDIA] and RAK Hospital [UAE] have signed an agreement wherein Shalby’s orthopedic surgeons work regularly in RAK Hospital. Shalby’s Founder Chairman Dr Vikram Shah also regularly goes to UAE for conducting joint replacement surgeries at RAK Hospital.

This agreement was signed before a few months.

Senior Joint Replacement Surgeon Dr Kalpesh Shah lectures at the special CME jointly organized by the governments of India and UAE.

Dr Kalpesh Shah was on a Teaching and Treating mission in UAE. In a Continuing Medical Education [CME] Program organized jointly by Indian government and the United Arab Emirates [UAE] government, Dr Kalpesh Shah spoke about the recent advances in joint replacement. It was attended by medical practitioners of different fields. The lecture was well received. Many of the doctors who attended could not believe the results after TKR surgeries done at Shalby Hospitals. Many healthcare providers of UAE also attended the CME program, apart from doctors.
