To commemorate World Health Day 2023, Shalby Multispecialty Hospital Indore organized various programs to spread awareness about regular health check-ups and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training. Both OPD and admitted patients along with their relatives were offered free diagnostic services to check their blood sugar and blood pressure. Around 350 patients got benefitted with this service from which around 70 patients were found to have high level of blood sugar and blood pressure. Along with this, OPD patients and their relatives were given free live demo of CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) training. Dr. Vivek Joshi informed the patients and their relatives that if someone complains about pain in the left side of the chest, breathlessness, sweating, nervousness, there is a possibility of heart attack. At this point of time, if a person falls or lies down a floor, one should not try to get him up from the floor but instead check his heart beats and perform CPR.
