WORLD PREMATURITY DAY

World Prematurity Day is observed on 17 November each year to raise awareness about preterm birth and the concerns of preterm babies and their families. 1 in every 10 babies is born premature. Kangaroo mother care can play a huge role in care of such babies. It is inexpensive, keeps the parents involved and has proven numerous benefits to baby.
