It seems but last year that Dr Vikram Shah received the Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award for Health Care Excellence. I came across this news video on YouTube by chance…

He was praised for having done 31,000 joint replacements in the citation for the award, which was given in 2011.

Today the number has gone up to 55,000+ joint replacements

Otherwise, also most things have changed... quality of patient care if ever keeps on getting better as we get feedback from patients from all parts of the world
